ahh another load to fort mc murray

Well another day has come and gone and I am still here!! all is great in a much better mood today than the messed up day of yesterday......dont believe me check out the post of yesterday!! man that was a wierd day....but today i picked up another load of pipe going to fort mc murray all good It was fun to go up there except for the 2.5 hour drive that there is nothing to see or do but trees and snow!! it should be another enjoyable drive......i also picked up a engine going to red deer so that will be a quick drop on the way up there but at least this time i dont have to rush up there that is a good thing!!
I am not gonna post any pic today cause i have been in a real rush it seems latly so mabey tommorow i will have some of the truck it looks really good all shiny and stuff!! but the right moment has not come for me to take pic...i am really picky that way it seems but hey what can you do when you live in a shoe.
but tommorow will be back to amarillo, tx where i will spend another night and have some most likly horrible pic of snow again!! that sucks but hey i gots to get used to it i am not gonna be driving in nice hot weather all year!!! and when they have me going to fort mc murray all the time i will be driving in deep deep snow all the time!!! oh well it keeps me on my toes!! 
As for life in general you cant please everyone....just yourself if you go about all the time trying to take care of everyone else you will soon come to realise that you yourself need some serious TLC and that is where i am right now i need some TLC.....and i think that i have found it......i have been so happy latley that it has been a big turn aroundin my life.......things have been so shitty and crappy but now all that crap has gone down the drain and i am a "new person" so to speak i have never been this happy for this long and things dont seem to be coming down (knock on wood) so that is a great thing....i have met alot of great people in my job and alot of great people here as well.....so thanks everyone you have touched me deeper than you know!! all is well in the land of Granden......now i am gonna go and play with my iron-balls and go to bed yall have a great night and greetings from Houston, TX!! well another day another day....

Well since i went thru a blizzard...it really wasent that bad but Amarillo got a dump of snow... i am more concerned with the other drivers on the road than i am with keeping my rig on the road...but whatever that was yesterday......on to today i got unloaded rather quickly today it was all good and got to san antonio by 1 so all was good.....so i got to the truck stop and decided that since i didnt want to go to bed i went and bought a bottle of polish and shined up the new truck but only got the fuel tanks front end and tires done so it is half done i am tired now and feel kinda yucky so i quit had enough but it looks damn good
!!! i will get some pic tommorow but for now you all have to deal with the fact that it is night so fricken quick here now that the night pic would do no justice so.....but i do have some from colorado thou they are kinda neet so there...
But yea i am kinda off in lala land today.... the brain is not functioning i think it is getting up at 3 in the morning for the last like week has me all messed up!!! but not to worry all is well!!
So today i listened to the CNN channel of sirius satelite radio for the 4 hour drive to sanantonio and the 2 hour drive from witchita falls to fort worth I feel like such a nerd i listened to a news channel for like 7 hours today see what happens when you have a friend that lives in the states and talks nothing of politics for like ever on her fotopage!!! dammit ms dottedstripes!!! but I do have to say that John Edwards had the most amazing speech!! man it mooved me totally!! i was wicked impressed!! great job....and for Kerry he had a good speech but he closed it all wrong mabey in the states that was good but it just did not rock my boat..... edwards did much better......but anywho missed the bush speach caught the last couple words and that was it so it did not sound much better......but anywho Bush won BOOOOOOO and Bush won not only the electoral election but the popular vote was won by over 3% or three million people no pres hasdone that since his father in 88......the first cuban american was voted in as well i thnk in Florida.....the first alaskan-native a women i think was voted in......and some guy who has been voted in for like the last 30 years was finally voted out and replaced by some guy on bushes side!! but yea see things get a little foggy here......but anywho Bush made out preaty damn good got some more seats and yea I kinda didnot like that the secretary of state made his annoucement that they (bush) won so early when it was not time..... kinda pissed me off but hey at least Bush had the decincy to wait for Kerry to call it quits this time...that was the only good thing that i have heard that he has done for a long time!! but anyway that is my political update for now......man that was wierd listening to all that crap today but hey what can you do when you get hooked on something.....
To get back to the day today I wait i am on today..... 0) man my head is screwed up right now......i think that i need sleep....yea later....but i think that that is all i have to say.....my head it foggy....must do something about it must read more fotopages....must put pic on computer to post on page...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!......so much to do so little time......i must go i am going insane talking to my computer and writing it down you all are gonna think I am messed up.....mabey i am.....oh my this ends now....yall have a great night and Enjoy....if the pic arnt up they will be in like 20 min and it is 640pm alberta time 740 texas time and so on.....Enjoy

Well this one is special cause it was a requested pic taking.....I was telling Kristal about the view at Billings, Mt at night and she asked if I would take some pic for her so i have done that but the wierd thing was is that where i took the Pic there was an aircraft viewing lot right next to the airport.....which was right next to a big cliff over looking the city!!! so i parked there and took some night shots which some turned out and others did not but i have a few so I hope that they do!!! but yea back to the point i went and took some pic that night (wednesday i think) and was thinking about her all the time and how cool it would have been to have her there with me i even took wome time out to sit and watch a few planes take off that was super cool cause your like 100 feet from the runway it was so coooool.......someday i will take her there....in fact everyone should go there and see the lights of Billings, Mt at night it is so cool and then while your there watch the fricken loud planes take off and land so coool it was a great experience!!! but yea thats about all that i know for the day today i am back in the states at Casper, Wy and am on my way with a load of lumber that half goes to Fort Worth, TX and the other to San Antonio, TX so that will be all unloaded on wed this week and then i am on my way back to canada so keep posted i should have the truck washed and pic taken tommorow night hopefully!!! talk to you all soon!!!!Enjoy

Yes you all read right I got a new truck!!!!!! so cooooooolllll its awesome its a 2003 peterbuilt and it looks soooo cool....it dosent have as much power as the old freightliner but it does still damn good!!!! sorry but no pic as of yet got a couple of the inside but dont know if they turned out yet am gonna look at them in a sec.....but yea thats my awesome news other than that Happy halloween everyone hope that all of you are ready for the next week of your kids being hellians from all the damn candy.....and it your like Kristal, her kids got two halloween trips.....one to magrath (a mormon town that celebrated it on sat) and the other in her hometown of high river.....you will have to put up with crazy kids for ever!!! or it might seem!! but yea i wish that i could have been in town for that i would have loved to go out with her and go trick or treatin' would have been a blast but hey there is always next year!! who knows......but yea got to see Matt and Alissa and my mother and sister and her family on friday and that was ccool the visit always feels short for some reason but hey at least we get to see eachother!!! and man i can officially say that this is the happiest that i have been for.....well ever!!!  its awesome i have not wiped this perma grin off my face sine like 2 weeks ago when we went for a walk around calgary!! and the fact that my job is going great and i am having fun at it is even better!!! and the fact that my friends are all happy thats even better!!!! i loveeeeeeeeeetttt keep up the good times!! and enjoy the pic!!

Ok here you go everyone i finally took the time to take some pic last night the full moon was awesome the pic have a ton of noiise in them but hey they will do someof them look damn cool and keep in mind that they were all taken at night well almost all of them!! it was so much fun what a night......the night pic were taken in Colorado in prowers County.....i think that is how to spell it....
But yea I had a great Chat with Kristal last night as well.....communication is always the best way to make things better just get out what you want and make it know and all will be good!! Man that girl makes me smily Happy!! I sent her some flowers yesterday and she sent me a pic of them so that is in on theis set as well!! she was not feeling very good so i thought that i would cheer her up and send her some flowers...and get this.....No one has ever sent her flowers before!!!! wow thats crazy well now someone has!!! awesome it was nice to make someones day!!
Onto other things.....I locked the keys in my Semi again!!!! man that sucks but i never get too worried i can break into the thing if i just have the right tools!!! but this one i was limited to what i could use so i took a pic of the contraption that i used to break into the truck.....now yall migh have to use the imagination on how the hell i got into the truck on this one but hey it took only about 3 or 4 min to get into it using this little makeup!! awesome.....atleast i never had to call the tow truck to come and open it for me that can be damn expencive......Look out Alissa's dad I am gonna take over the Lock and key business!!!
Well i am onto the second night in a row of 1000+ km nights and only 3 more to go untill i get a good 34 hour rest!!! man last night the last hour was the hardest man it sucked i thought that i saw a great big black bear come outta the pavement in front of me....bahhhhhhh i swear i hit it and then......nothing....it wasent even there.....just my mind playing tricks on me it was damn scarry but after the fact I started laughing its all good!!! funny stuff.
But other than that this will be my last post for a while going back into Canada!! so dont fret I will be back again soon to update the pic and stuff so i will leave you some pic and a nice little story and say hope yall have the Best weekend possible and a great halloween!!!!!oooooooooo ENJOY
Oh and one more thing....my sisters Kids name is Lucas Granger Mallette......and his weight and crap i dont remember so thats gonna have to wait till later!! sorry.....oh he was born at 6am on the 24 i think or mabey it was the 23 whatever day it is posted on that was the day so yea there you go.....

for all the times that i have been mixed up emotionally this weekend was one of the strangest.... now I have had worse times but this weekend was definatly strange...I found out that my mind like to play tricks on me and i ended up catching myself talking to myself not that that is strange for me but it was definatly a wierd conversation!! but all that was needed was a good swift kick in the ass mentaly and got the shit back on track.....but it is days like this that the little things that people do for you like a friendly hello or a pat on the back that you did a good job comes out and makes you see just how much they bring you up!! I almost broke down and cried in the middle of the interstate about 30 min ago when I got a text message from a very special friend and it just said that i have a good night and sweet dreams and that we will talk tommorow!! just something small like that made me almost crack....thats the kinda weekend it has been!! but that little message did wounders for me and now i will make it thru another day sometimes I feel like suck a suck!! but i did promise that i would have some pic but i am friclken tired and feel like crap well kinda feel alot better than i did earlier today so that is a good thing thanks again to that special person!! So I get a call at 830 ish this morning and it is my sisters husband Jay!! and he tells me that my sister has hatched another kid....execllent it was born at 6 am this morning.....so cool so CONGRATS TO TOE AND JAY on there second child.....way to go JAy!!

Well what to say about today.....got unloaded by a couple of mexicans it was awesome!!! they didnt give two shits if the freight fell off the deck or the forklift they just tossed it all off and put it in another pile it was awesome!! they were kinda fast and didnt screw around so that was a bonus for me so all went smooth and i am back on the road headed to houston.....And today i went thru the town where George W is from Midland, TX wow i am so happy,,, not a big deal to me but man they had signs everywhere!!! it was kinda neet but I have seen better things in my travels.....
So I am sitting here eating breakfast looking up at the TV and something catches my eye as it moves across the CNN channel......Trucker shot by sniper on the I-44 in missouri....may be linked to 8 other shootings...now what the hell is that???? man imagine driving along minding your own business...oh bye the way they did not say if he died or not.....and bang you get shot by someone 1000 yards away GOODNIGHT.....now i have more to watch out for not to mention the idoit drivers I have to worry about the coward snipers trying to gun me down!!! Its all good thou i aint to worried (but i will knock on some wood to be sure)

if this works i am in an orange mood today!! well the day started out shitty stayed shitty and then ended great!! I dont know why but the damn stomach decided to act up today and cause me multiple problems!! so had to take a break in Limon, CO and rest the poor bastard!! so i ended not ending up at my destination untill 9 at night....which was amarillo.tx...I am on my way to Odessa, tx and hopefully to get unloaded tommorow!! but lets hope all goes well and I get up that early in the morning I have to be there by 10 texas time so i have to get up at like 3 or 4 my time and head out so i get there in time!! it should be interesting every night this week has been nothing but 5 mabey mabey 6 hours of sleep well except for one night i got to sleep like 12 hours well almost!! so i am taking time out of my sleeping time to once again post a story sorry was feeling shitty today so no pic but i guarantee that i will have more for you this weekend have some time to piss around so i hope to take some more!! and get this I get to go to Fort Mcmurry I am getting a load from houston and get to go to Fort Mcmurry!!! but the only thing is that they want the shit there for friday delivery so you do the math thats 4000km in 4 or so days thats awesome it will be there so expect some cool fort mcmurry shots next weekend!! and i might even get to spend the weekend way way up there!! that would be fun!! halloween and everything well that is it for today short and sweet.....ENJOY

So yea you all think that I would leave work and not tell everyone No i am not on hiatus....i have just been held in Canada where no truckstops have the internet so to bring you all up to speed i am gonna post pic on a couple of the last few days and leave this one for a really long update on whats been happening the last few days!!
Where to start I got to Lethbridge on sat and had the best wild mushroom steak that i have ever tasted and to top it off it was cooked by a damn good friend named Jordan we (his woman Sarah, and her sister Pam) went to Georgeo's in Lethbridge and was that ever a cool little place!! but yea the supper and company was top notch!! i enjoyed it trmendously!! thanks Jordan!! then i traveled to edmonton to see the master himslef Offencive behaviour (aka Matt) and his goddess (Alissa) we got to go to the west edmonton mall and do someother mis. shopping which was a blast and matt even got yelled at by a bathroom attendant!! just ask him i imagine that he will say something about it!! and if he already has then disregard that!! but it was all good we went and got to all see my sister in her last few days of being pregnant that is so funny she dosent look half as big as what she did with her first but yea so that was cool got some pic of matt in a TV box.....dont ask just look....and then after our short visit it was time for me to go and sleep and get unloaded in nisku, AB the next morning!!
But that is not very interesting so i will skip to monday Night.....ahhh monday night.....aside from the weekend being top notch monday was the icing on the cake!! I got to spend some time with Kristal...if you all dont remember she is my Administrative assistant....hell she is just an over all awesome person she is one of the reasons that i love working at this place she makes my day everyday!! but anyway we were gonna go to a huge haunted house in calgary and we well i ended up missing the turn off (she was the navigator by the way i was just behind the wheel you know how it is) so we ended up downtown trying to find free parking and that didnt work so we drove over to the other side of town and parked in the only free parking and took the LRT downtown.....but we were impatiant and took the train heading the other way!! it was the first one and all the people in the LRT station were wierd lookin!! but yea we got on the train went to till it stopped and then road it all the way back and to downtown.....it took like 45 min at least it was so much fun we just sat and talked!! and then we walked around downtown calgary in the snow and cold (which neither of us were prepared for Kristal had a spring coat on and i just had a sweater but it didnt matter it was all good) but yea that is where all the calgary pic came from....so yea it was a lot of fun to hang out with her on Monday.....it made the weekend that much sweeter.....
but yea the rest of the week was all work and sitting so it aint all the important well some of it is but we will leave that for a day when i am sure i want to post that to the world 0)
But i took some pic of billings, MT as a request of Kristal since no one else here has asked me to phot something anything i will find it as long as it aint downtown somewhere i should be able to get something for you all!! i am gonna try to get some night shots they are so much better and i am sorry this is so damn long but it needs to be.....SO DEAL WITH IT!!
I would like to thank Kristal for the last few days the time has been execllent and it has caused me to have an endless smile all the time!! its awesome....Hopefully there are more days like the last few to come in the future!!!
And last but not least certainally not least I would like to thank my best friend which over the years we have gathered alot of love for each other and have come to the conclusion that there is a point to which your friendship hits a point to which you become family (if you all know what i am talking about) and i would just like to thank Matt for showing me that!! thanks man.....
