so i went out and got really drunk with a couple friends on thursday night.....oh what a night....it was comedy.....or so Lamb http://lambhimself.fotopages.com thinks anyway......it was all good fun.......
thaNKS everyone for the comments and all things are slowly getting back to normal....have really sat down and thought about what i want in life and personally am getting tired of trucking.....not the job that is but the people assoiated with it.....they just dont mend well with me i dont think....if yall know what or where i am coming from.....so i have decided to start a new path and go back to school......i am thinking that i am gonna try what i have always wanted to do since i got outta highschool.....i want to become a paramedic.....the course aint that bad but the tuition is a killer but hey if you put your mind to it you can get anything that you want outta life eh?!! so that is the plan a little help from the parents and i think that i will be set......but that means that i be working my ass off untill july in order to pay off the debts i have and still have enough to cover the 10 grand for the first year.....i figure i can do it but i am gonna have to set the mind to it and conquor!!! all will be good and i think it will be a step in the right direction anyway!!!
so this weekend has been kinda slow but still good thinking about going up to elkford tommorow but we will see about that.....have a doc appointment to see how the bone is healing and what not.... oh and i shaved and got the hair dyed.....i guess that is what happens when you spend 4 hours in a hair salon visiting a friend.....her mom who runs the salon basically told me that the hair colour had to go so for christmas she was gonna colour my hair so there you have it......i think that it looks good.....different but good!!!
So yall ready for christmas??/ me i am a last minute shopper and always leave things till the last momment so i am kinda far behind....but not too worry still have lotsa time.....ya right but who knows i will somehow get them all covered!!! somehow
And thanks Kerri for the advise it makes alot of sence and is kinda the conclusion that i came to this last couple days.....which is why i have decided to go back to school!!!

when you think all else has failed where do you turn?

So today and the last few have been those days where all that can go wrong has gone wrong, and the light in the tunnel seems to just not be there so i took to the streets of my home town to find some answers, and mabey some lights.......but to my dismay the people in this town seem to not want to pick me up and the light show was not as inspiring as i thought that i would be...... so my search for answers to this fugedd up year are not within my reach..... and that is starting to get on my nerves....... but i still have a gleam of hope but it is hard......... i know that we all go thru tuff times in our lives and this year has been the most stressful i think that i have had so far.....from watchin a best friend nit the pavement on his bike, to having an unexpected pregnancy.... and have the girl not want to be with me, to getting diagnosed with ulcerative colitus, and to top the year off totaling my best friends truck, getting a busted arm and stiched up nose......this year has been the most trying mentally on me and i am just trying to figure out what the hell is going on in my life things are just fucked up this year......but to dispite all this shit there have been ups to this year.... i had aa great couple a months with a girl that rocked my world....it may have lasted a little while but that little bit was great.....to my best friend findingsomething that he really wants to do and really persuing it and i havent seen him this happy in a long time.....and aside from getting the life knocked outta him brad mad a great comback from hisd accident and is getting back to work now.......i just dont know where the hell my life is headed i have come to the point where i feel like i was when i was back at Rosenau.......LOST....... i need to find direction in this messed up time..... need to be inspired......... i have the cards in my hand i just need to figure out what they mean.... damn year when will you end?
ps i pick orange for other than yellow it is a acolour that picks me up......but yellow is hard to read i hear so i go with orange

yep it is true got into my first accident and as for me i am ok got 6 stiches on the olde nose and a really sore forearm and what not.......still havent heard from the insurance as to whose fault it was but i am fairly sure that it wasnot mine so that is hopefully a good thing!!
but all I have to say is that i have the best friend in the world and it proves to me that he is a brother first and a friend second......how many people can say that they have a friend that will take you totaling there truck......Matt took this very well and I am so thankfully to have a friend like him around.....THAnks Matt for bring there when I need you the most and for putting up with all the garbage that came with the last few days thanks for taking it with suce ease!! Your the best!!
But yea basically i got cut off by a semi that was turning left in an intersection and i slammed on the brakes to get around him and couldnt quite make it past his trailer and wham i hit right in his tires of the trailer and that was that it was kinda icy but i think that it was his fault for i had the green light and was going within the speed limit so lets hope all works out for the best!!
so I am going to be taking a couple days off for i cannot put alot of pressure on the olde arm so it is hard to shift and stuff and i am not able to tighten the strraps on the deck very well so i have to wait untill monday and lets hope that the arm is better and i can go back to work!!
but all is well man this year has been shitty!! but hey it cant get much worse!!! Its all good i am just glad that all is ok and no one is pissed at each other not that i expected matt to be mad but we both have families that are really difficult sometimes.....but this time proved interesting and all turned out good!!!! so i hope that everyone else is doing good and staying safe!!! Enjoy all!!
PS i am so confused with fotopages once there are 10 pic then 7 then 9 i dunno but i think that i got it now there are all the pic that i want up there are up now so i hope it all works now......man what a year!!

theses were the rest of the shots of the dinner that we had at richardson's it was execllent eats!! i loveeeeeeetttttt!!!! and yes we opened the coconut with a screwdriver and screws it was fun and entertaining we really wanted the coconut juice outta the thing and man was it gross i have had it before and know how bad it is but hey ya always have to try things twice to make sure that the first time is the same!!!
PS dec 9 621 i am gonna pretend that there are 5 pic here so if there is in the next few days or hours lets hope that fotopages......work!!!please just make things go better this week!!!dammit.

so....my first post in Canada for a long time

PS eargasm: FOOD INNUENDO GUY by Adam Sandler
So i get to stay at the mans house for the weekend hauled ass to get to Edmonton in the snow and shit to spend the weekend with Matt and Alissa it was well has been so far a great experience.....yesterday we went to the West Ed mall and did christmas the old school way....see me an Matt used to just go to the mall back home (medicine Hat) and go out shopping one day together and bye each other gifts and give them to each other right there in the store it was a great and non-timeconsuming way to get gifts.....hey I want that....yea?.....well here you go!! DONE christmas is over gifts have been exchanged and thats that.....brought back wicked memories Matt got me the Guinness Book Of World Records 2005 I used to read that damn book all the time cover to cover and thought that would be fun.......so far it is kinda a cool book!!! but other than that we ran into some very interesting people that day first off was the guy that was our waiter at Julio Barrios (it is a mexican resturant) and he was all wierd when he came up to the table he wouldnt stop looking at me for someodd reason.....  and then when we made our order he was like oh good choice good choice to everything we got it was kinda anoying and creepy but hey its all good.....
And then while we were at the mall we had a person that used to serve me at Truckers (a restuarant back home) and she came up and was like HEY DONT I KNOW YOU???? WHATS YOUR NAME???? i was like wooooo ok its Granden and then it clicked and we had a little chat and shit and then we hi tailed it away from there!! it was kinda strange times.....a little different but hey it was nice to see someone that i havent talked to in a long time....and then when we were in the HMV i was looking for something for Theophan and i ask this guy there and he was like i dont know where they are in the store and then some chick that worked there walked by and kinda poked her head into my personal "BUBBLE" and so I asked her and she was like "well would you like to take a walk with me upstairs and we can go look up there" i was like OK sounds like a plan....so we got to ride the escalader up to the top and what was playing on the stereo but britney spears "everytime" and she was like ohhh we get to listen to Britney Spears.....i was like ya its a good song.....I dont know she was just really friendly and that kinda service you just dont find in an HMV we couldnt find the exact thing that i was lookin for so she went and looked on the computer and it said that they have 4 left so we even walked around the store and looked for it but could not find anything sooooooo....long story short i ended up grabbing something and went and found Matt and Alissa again and we talked and decided to go to another store to find the right gift.....sooo what do we do with the one that is in my hand??? well i really did not want to go upstairs again so Matt taked it and puts it behind a t-shirt that is hanging in the isle.....and my clumbsy ass knocks the shirt off as i walk by and i kept on walking and then the chick that helped me find it walks by and looks at the shit on the floor and was like...."We spent all that time looking for that and then you just toss it on the floor!!!" well needless to say i was kinda embarrassed but it was all good I handel myself damn good when situations like that happen.....just ask Matt!!! It was tons of fun!!! and she was a good sport about it all.......so anywho another one of my rambling posts sorry!!!!
but tonight Matt is going to make us supper and everything and when we went to the store to get food i just had to pick up some pineapple and coconut.....i love both of them so much so i got to cut up the pineapple and later we are gonna break open the cocnut!!! and if anyone has tried to do that it can be a pain in the ass to get the damn thing open!! it should be fun!!!but thats about all for now later i might put up some more pic of the coconut!!! Well all it is my time to say goodbye....it has been a treat!!! but i have to go into canada again but i will be at Matt and Alissa's for the weekend so mabey i will post some pic of the trade show that we are gonna go to!!! sound like a plan?? I hope that yall have a great weekend and thanks for hangin in there with me this week it has been a rough one but i pulled thru terrific!!! and i will get that story for yall i havent found it yet so.....and here is a teaser as to the whole missing the dottedstripes as of earlier in my posts i know it is dark but i have been in the night for most of the week so been kinda hard to take pic properly!!! but hopefully today!! thanks everyone again.....much appreciated.......and JP keep it up and i am gonna piss my pants one of these days!! and Ms. dottedstripes you have a very beautiful sounding name i really like it!!

Well today I got to make the arangements of making New Years plans for the crew!! it was damn fun driving and talking on the olde phone was wicked fun......so here it is for yall if ya got nothing better to do on a friday night on December 31, 2004 come on over to the SANDMAN HOTEL in Lethbridge and ask where Granden Bertrand is staying and they will direct you to where the APE !will be!!! seriously I am wearing an ape suit to my New Years Party how about yall....eh? it will be a blast i did the same last year and figured mahhh why not!!! wicked fun.....so there is the invite to you all well the regulars at least.......
Today was a much better day thanks all!!! i drove just over 1100km and went thru 4 states started in Texas went thru Oklahoma (quickly) then hauled ass thru Colorado and ended up parking my ass in Wyoming at Casper.....what a great trip clear sky's and clear roads couldnt ask for anything better and even pulled over to get the SIGN OF THE DAY.....yes its back!!! I lOVEEETTTTT
and I have to say that I am wicked impressed with the THINK ABOUT IT THURSDAY ADMIN. its great he has a wicked sence of humor in his last post....kinda reminds me of JP's page and his shenanagins (what a word ) so yea great job that TAIT.....
AND who the hell started the damn post about MS. dottedstripes tag line......we all want to know its not like we are gonna take you out back and beat you up......well i might help drag you out back but i will not be involved in any beating........well mabey.....if i am asked nicely.....like i said i am a huggy cuddly and sometimes kissy person!!!
Well thats about it today is much better i have a story to tell but i thi.........ohhhhhhhhhhh yea quickly here i will tell yall that i was told that i must have large balls by a trucker i will explain:
I was driving in Kansas and we were in blowing snow and it was going across the highway in a way that it made everyone on the left hand side imposible to see when you went past other trucks and there were two semis going like 70 km an hour and i said screw this i aint gonna sit behind these guys and put the peddle to the floor and got past the first one and no sweat.....but then i got up to the second guy and the wind came up and just as i got to his trailer i hit a white out I couldnt see the ditch could barley see his lights on the trailer it was crazy so what do i do i hammer it and hit the nice little "rumblers" on the side of the road and follow them untill I got thru the white out which lasted like mabey 30 secodns but that damn 30 seconds gave my heart a good work out it was crazy awesome!!! and then what do i hear on the CB radio when i get past this guy...."man you must have some big balls!!" i laughed my ass off well after my heart stoped thumping in my chest......Enjoy everyone!!!
PS why the hell does my toast taste so much better with the jam on the wrong side???(i put the jam on the side with no butter and then realised this and on the next piece put it on the "right" side and was sadly dissapointed to find out that it was lack luster in taste damn flying J")
PPS JULI dont be sad that all the snow just decided to dissapear!!! it was like that all thru Colorado....fort collins got over 10 inches of snow last weekend and when i went thru there yesterday there was but a light covering on the ground and the highway was dry so......strange weather this country is having!! i hate this colour not only for its name but also for how it looks thought i would just point it out!!

Lack luster.... thats an awesome word.....and this is why it is in the title!!:
I go to fax some paper work off to my dispatch (Dion) and there is a little kiosk that they have at the flying J where you can send everything from faxs to flowers and sign up for there rewards programes and shit like that....well i go and scan all my shit 3 pages total and than i get them sent and they go thru but the thing that got me is that the damn machine wouldnt give me a reciet......so i dont get to make the company pay for it It may have only been 4 dollars but that is still 4 bucks....ohh well....but the thing is is that something is always broken at the flying J's either it is there bathrooms that are "closed for cleaning" the road link kiosk is broken and cant send out faxs.....the power is out and the scales arent working.......what else have i run into.....oh fuel reciepts there have been times that they have not gotten my record that i fueled and so they have to spen like 10 min trying to find it in the computer man what a truck stop but i tell ya if i could get fuel and internet at another truck stop and make it work like the flying j does I would so go there but there arnt too many truck stops up in the north part of the USA.....so i am kinda limited i am gonna see if i can stop at the Pilots they are good truck stops!!! but that is all i have to bitch about today i slept for a long ass time last night again and i feel somewhat better now so that is all good i am glad that i am starting to feel better....so yall have a great day and we will chat laters....  oh and i will have a pic here i just havent taken it yet the sun aint in the right spot for me to take it so just hold your horses and it will be up before i leave here!!!

Well I am sorry about the last couple days yall!! I have been in a constant mode of writers block everything i do and say just dosent seem to be gelling with me my mind is all foggy and everything around me is uninteresting at the moment so that is why all of the post and pic have not been up to par latley and i have been kinda in a shity mood and i feel like shit the last couple of weeks mabey its the pills mabey its the shit that has been happening in life latley I dont know but i just feel in the gutter lately and so i am gonna try and give myself a good kick in the ass and try to get outta this slump that i seem to be in!! So try and hang in there with me and i will get back to taking some kick ass photos and stop rambling on about nothing in my posts.......it is like I see alot of lovely thinkgs that would make for a great pic but i just have no interest in taking the shot or something to that matter and i cant get anything outa my head and onto paper (or computer) its all messed up!! well I hope that yAll understand and I will get things back into order here shortly.........I hope
