Ah Today back up to date!!

Damn Fotopages!!
I have been trying to update for the last two days and nothing cant get anything up so now i have to put up three days woth in one sitting which really bites into my sleeping time but hey I am really excited to share the last few days with everyone!!! and another thing that has gone wrong is that my MSN aint workin and that is what I use to get ahold of most of my close friends!!! so that is the shits but hey what can you do i am working on it as we speak!!.....
So hear we go back up to date and I can go thru my day today....well i started off in a City called Jackson, mississippi it was kinda cool but nothing special i wasent really awake this morning so the day kinda drug on so that kinda sucked!! but i was excited to be going thru Memphis, Tn (i have no idea the abreviations of all the states yet) but when I got there i was delt a swift hand of traffic  it sucked I was at a stand still for like 20 min I guess some garbage truck broke down on a bridge that was under construction and they had a bitch of a time to get a tow truck up there to get it the hell out of the way (would have hated to been that guy or girl!!)  but yea so i would explain the view from the bridge i was on in Memphis but it would take for ever and i dont feel like typing that much if you talk to me some time just ask and i will tell you but not now  But yea got thru that mess and a half and got into Arkansa........ yea sure it was kinda neet the rest stop there was kinda like the one in mississippi but i took some pics anyway they are kinda neet!! I also got some shots of a gutter that caught my interest cause everything looked so clean and taken care of and in the middle of it all is this dirty stinky gutter (whatever  ) But yea checked my load and headed to Misouri.....I stoped at the first rest stop to again check the load and take care of some other business and got some neet shots of the welcome sign and flags the rest stop was huge so COOL....i dont get where the states comes up with all there money but some how some one is shelling out some major bucks!!! Yea I had to call the shop like 7 times today I kept on doing my paperwork wrong and Me and Dion just wernt clicken today but in the end and lots of conversations thru KRISTAL we finally got it together and the paper work got handeled and i am clear to cross the boarder tommorow!!! wicked hopefully it dosent take that many phone calls in the future!! But I think that they enjoyed the escapades today I sure did!! But any who moving on I got into Illinois and the speed limit is 55 for all trailer pulling vehicals and RV's THAT SUCKS but i was like well mabey i should slow down and so i did.....goof thing this Highway was covered in cops (or bears as the truckers say) I must have gone bye like 6 cops in the 100 and some odd KM that i spent in the state it was crazy they were everywhere and even had the odd gost car out there man it was so wierd to see that many cops!!! they even have a billboard that has a cop with his arms crossed wearing raper glasses and big words beside him I'AM NOT YOUR MOMMA.....ohh scary  serious that was a billboard I laughed my ass off it was so funny!! oops I missed something back in Arkansas there is a rest stop called Trail of tears rest stop.....very nice there was a play ground there too and everything!!! but more interesting was the plaque that was a monument to a PIG....yea a very expencive pig....$19,000,000 PIG yea enlarge the sign and read it crazy no? if anyone knows what this is all about please inform me...thakns....but yea other than that I finally get to my destination for the day which is Indianapolis....and i pull into the truck stop WHAT A GONG SHOW there are 3 truck stops within a block of each other and they are all packed full what a joke but after driving in circles i finally found a spot and got settled in and now I am here writing and updating what fun!!!but yea I hope that all have enjoyed the last couple days and the pic too....check out the fine for littering in Missouri!!! man thats almost an arm and a leg.....oh yea that reminds me you hit Yea just hit a road worker in Illinois and you get a $10,000 fine and 14 yes 14 years in jail they have the signs everywhere even when there is no road work with in a 50 KM radius they just want you to know that little fact.....NICE....
Tommorow: indiana,Michigan,Ontario...ohh Canada YES!! Just kiddin
wow I went thru 6 states today that has to be a new record for me!!! awesome.CHOW

Ok so this might be a long entry so yea......didnt do too much today walked around and found some old abandoned yard that looked like an oversize tree house with a swimming pool under it seriously look at the pic it was wierd the whole thing was behind a fence and all barb wired up.....but that was starting to freak me out so i went back to the truck stop and took some more pic but they sucked so i deleted them and we are all better off. If any one out there has had the balls to take a pic of some one like say a fellow patron at a resturant or a waitress at a resturant......and then had to explain what they were doing i would like to hear about the encounter.....reason being i am sitting in a resturant and i would love to take the pic of the waitress i just wamt to have a pic of the uniforms that they wear!! and then there is another woman that is wearin the coolest clolthes they just all "flow" and are really wierd colours I think that it would make a good pic.....but how do you explain that to the person....with out them thinking that you a perv that just wants it for "other" purposes.....yea i think to much sometimes......oh and holy shit the potato soup that i have just chowed down on is execllent i have had like 6 bowls now i cant get enough of it its awesome!!!!! but yea met a guy that was out walkin his dog and the poor thing had a wicked limp and the guy said that he was trying to get up into the truck and caught his toenail and ripped it out and that is now why he limps....poor pups sorry no picture but the guy kinda left real quick so i couldnt get a pic i think that he was not wanting me to take one so whatever......the surrounding area of the truck stop is wierd it even has old caution\""keep out tape still on some trees it reminded me of a murder scene that you see on Americas most wanted or some shit like that.....but yea I got am awesome pic of the sun setting over some of the trucks in the yard i think that it turned out damn fine (tell me what ya think!!)
But yea there are some huge fricken people here in the states......many of them are truck drivers its crazy....and i dont mean like just obese....i mean fricken obtuce.....they arnt even proper dimentions there was this one guy that looked like a top he had a small neck and head and then like a huge ass tire and then that all folded over his legs it was amazing that the guy could walk!!!! i cant get over that i dont understand how that happens.....but to each his own if your happy with who and what you are\""do then thats awesome.....i just needed to comment on that cause in Canada you can come across all the time tiny ass chairs that are ment to fit midgits that are less than 1 foot wide but not here in the states i dont think that i have even seen a chair that has arm rests on them!!! or a booth that i didnt have to reach to get the salt or catsup.....thats someting else spelling its crazy catsup like come on now.....but that aside food is another thing that i cant get over down here!!! like i wish that i could give everyone in the states a taste of Canadian iced tea!!! it would be a revolution everyone in the states would want it ahhhhh i hate the southern "tea" but yea on a positive side i order a piece of cheese cake and to my suprise it is huge!!!! like in canada you go and order a piece of cheese cake you get a sliver of pie here you get like a full quarter pounder of cake.....soo good and the "soda" (so wierd soda) not pop.....is so different i just dont get it the same damn company makes the shit but if your in the states it all tastes like shit.....oh to be back in canada!!!

so yea today I went thru the coolest state so far (well at least for cool scenery) Louisana.....it was awesome full of bridges that are wicked steep and one that is even 18.5 miles long thats like almost 30 km!!! it was awesome it went right thru a swamp and over some rivers and everything it was awesome!!! very cool today i enjoyed every minunite of it and then I got into Baton Rouge and there is another huge bridge it was so cool whoever lives in La. is very lucky and they are blessed with some awesome landscape!! but the one thing that sucks about the state is the Roads!!! the I-10 sucks it was fricken bumpy and had tons of holes everywhere it sucked it was like traveling in Saskatchewan!!! but yea I took some pic of the Mississippi welcome center that i stoped at to check the load it loks like an over size house like one off of sweet home alabama!!! but it was dark and i have no idea yet how the picsa faired they are still on the camera as of now... but hopefully i got at least one good pic.....I also am gonna start a section where i am gonna put up pic of signs that I take along the way....I have a few to put up this go around but I will try to put at least one every day.....also i stoped at a picnic area while I was still in Texas and it was so cool the place reminded me of a really nice camp spot (well take away the interstate) so yea the area that provided shade was all grown over on the tops with vines and such one of the pic shows it kinda well....it was a real nice spot....you dont see anything close to that in Canada along the highway our "rest stops" are like hey heres a porta poty in the middle of the bald ass prairie for ya....and if your real good we might just give you a street lamp to go along with it!!!.....well that is true unless you travel in Quebec then there rest stops are awesome they all have large buildings and nice grass to sit on and even picnic tables with shelters and indoor plumbing...Hmmm wounder where all that money comes from!! oh well that is Canada for ya!! but yea I am seriously getting pissed at the computer and fotopages it has been 2 days now that i havent been able to access my account and that really sucks i have taken alot of pics and all i want to do is share them dammit!!!! but all I can do is sit here and write on WORDPAD so that my memories are current not trying to back track that just makes me sound like I am jabbering on kinda like now so i will stop. [b]

Well i guess that i like signs and here are a few and i guess that any idoit with a camea always takes a pic or two of a flower so yea there are some here too but yea also if ANYONE and i do mean ANYONE have and ANYTHING that they would like me to look for and take pictures of I will do that well try to anyway I am traveling in a 65 foot long truck!! but yea the comments would be helpfull i would love it it gives me something to look for while I am on my travels My next load is going to go from Houston, Tx to Sault Saint Marie, Ont. so if yall have something that is on the way that I should take some pic of drop me a line dammit!!
but yea on a lighter note I would like to say that I enjoy this job with all I got it is awesome my dispatch (Dion) has been nothing but helpfull and my secretary (laking a better word her name is Kristal) is a lot of fun to talk to each day I call in and hear what is new back at the shop and in her busy life!! mabey I will get some pic's of them on here if they let me.....but yea thanks for all the support from home it is much appreciated and keeps me in line when the days get long and the mind gets spacy!! Thanks so much to those that are there for me every day family, friends and everyone else i meet along the way.....oh and for those that have been to Texas.....Anyone finish one of those famous 72 ounze steaks in an hour?? if you have or know someone who has tell me thats a feat that should be know!! but yea thats all for now!! thanks all for visiting!!

Ok so first i would like to day thanks Matt, Alissa and Kerri for the welcome I will try to psot as much as i can but we will start offf from a couple days ago while I was in Chyenne, Wy. Yea there was some poor idoit that wasent hooked up to his trailer right and he blasts off of his parkin spot and he drops his trailer full of hazardous materials and the trailer snaps in half it was quite funny if you do ask me but i wouldnt have wanted to be the guy in the truck!!
But yea to tell my story i was in Nisku, Ab picking up some pump Jacks to take down to Andrews, Tx and i get a welcome by some guy that tells me that there are three of us that have to go down to Texas together....I hate driving with truckers they are all wierdos (well most of them) and sure enough this guy was one of them he was like he was master shit and he knew all there was to know about trucking and he was on a path to show me all his knoladge cause i was a company drivier and did not own my own truck like himself....so we got loaded and he started straping my load and by the time i had my chains on he started telling me how to do shit...ok I have been doing this for 4 years and i think that by now i know how to do shit he just did not get off to a good start with me so i undid all the straps in front of him and did them properly....he just walked away..thats right stay the hell away from my shit!! 0) well that done we found out that the other guy that is going down with us wont be hitting the boarder untill the next day so we both had to wait untill he was ready to cross the boarder....that sucked but hey nothing that i really cared about....but i finally get down to Milk River which is about 20 minutes from the boarder and my "buddy" showed up shortly after (that is his dog in the picture fast freddie) and he came and had to talk to me and tell me his story where he got stoped by the DOT (department of transportaion) in Lethbridge and got a fine for not haveing an up to date log book and that cost him a wopping $340!!  serves him right i went thru the same check point and I was lucky enough to get thru with out getting stopped or I would have got the same ticket hahahahhahahahahaha......but yea so there is a picture of the load that I took down to Andrews.....

Well here goes nothing...I am going to begin a photopage of my travels around north america!! My name is Granden and I am a long haul trucker.....My friend Matt who has a kick ass page here on photopages so he has convinced me to get on here and try it out after i lost my first camera i really wanted to get another so i unloaded so dough and bought the cannon powershot S1 iS it is a decient camera and no i am no pro i am just starting out and seeing what i can produce so here are a couple pics of me (yes i was driving while taking the self portrait) oops but yea here you will find some antics of my trip and the pictures to go along with them so hike up your shorts and hold on to something and i will lead you on a long haul.....hope you all enjoy!!
